Our Capabilities

Neilly Group are specialists in developing waterway management solutions for the resource sector, NRM groups, government and non-government clients. We have extensive experience in the design of waterway management solutions from concept level for options assessment through to detail design for construction. We focus on designs that aim to achieve sustainable assets to ensure longevity, minimising capital and operational expenditure, and function as intended.

Our expertise includes:
  • Design and remediation of surface water drainage in industrial/mining settings.
  • Design of new waterway diversions and rehabilitation of historical diversions.
  • Design of rock beaching, grade control structures, rock chutes and alignment training pile fields.
  • Monitoring and assessment of watercourse diversion performance.
  • Liaising with specialist engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex projects.
  • Earthworks volumes and cost estimations.
  • Production of design reports, construction drawings and technical specifications for regulatory approvals and construction.
  • Provision of construction oversight and as-constructed sign-off (RPEQ and CPEng) to ensure the constructed asset meets design intent.
